Versailles

Today was our big adventure to Versailles. We woke up early, again, and headed right to the train station. Once we got there, we started in the magnificent gardens. We weren't able to spend a lot of time there, but I think it would takes days for someone to be able to explore every inch of the groups; possibly weeks. While we were in the gardens, we got to see Marie Antionettes Chateau, the small village she would escape to outside of the palace. This was the sight that I chose to do my class presentation on so it was very surreal to see it in person. Once we were inside, we were allowed to roam and stay for as long as we wanted. I had been to Versailles before as a kid, but to experience the palace as an adult was a special thing. Once we were done, we headed back to the hotel for a short rest, before we were heading out again for a boat cruise on the Seine. Even though it was super cold, it was a cool ride to see the city at night.
